The Weeknd himself was very hesitant about cutting off his hair he states "I'll probably cut it off if it starts interfering with my sight. I can kind of see right now. But if I cut it, I'd look like everyone else. And thats just so boring to me." telling Huffington post. The Weeknd may think he is boring but he is amazing and a 'star boy'.
Leading to something else, The Weeknd is now creating a new album named 'star boy' The weekend tells VMAN, "There are new inspirations on this album. The production feels aggressive but still sexy. The Smiths, Bad Brains, Talking Heads, Prince and DeBarge play roles. We wrote it all in Los Angeles. I think it'll be the best-sounding album I've ever don't its hard to label the sound because when i first came out, nobody would label it R&B. I just want to keep pushing the envelope without it feeling forced." There really isn't a date when the album will drop but he did drop a new song that is going to be on the album, Star boy ft. Daft Punk. Obviously, knowing me I already heard the song. The song really does remind me of his old music which makes me very happy, it brings me back to the times I would listen to his old song with my family members around 2012. Just by hearing this song I know its going to be a really good album.. And I simply cannot wait.
